Remembrance

It is amazingly gorgeous today, here, in Manhattan.
Much as it was, this date, five years ago when a thunderous explosion ripped me from an early morning slumber.

The events which unfolded, witnessed from my apartment windows, are forever carved in the memory.

This photograph was taken from those same windows when the Anniversary Lights first appeared.

The World Trade Center towers stood more to the left.

Musings On Blogging

As storm clouds cleared over the city last evening, it became obvious that--after looking around other posts--the less wordy ones appealed the most.
Probably because by nature I require visual stimulation and my attention span is short.

So, I guess, this one won't become a lengthy manifesto of sorts.
